Horses Up Close

Yuko wanted to buy garden tools today so we went to the hardware shop and bought garden tools.

Then we went to another hardware shop to buy some different stuff. Yuko was very happy.

She also wanted to take pictures of horses…

Today I also registered three (3) domains for a secret project I’m working on.

Interview with a Possum

In the evening we went out. But as we left the house, I met a wild animal and conducted an impromptu interview…

Meanwhile, at Lane Cove, the plaza is still in a state of chaos…

Noswonky’s Easter Message

Easter is almost upon us. I know this because there was a rabbit at Firefly today…

I therefore felt compelled to deliver my Easter message…

Dog Crashes The NAG

It was the night of the NAG. We sat in a room and learned about coordinates…

A visitor dude set up his telescope and we milled around it gawking…

One of our members also brought her telescope…

A dog tried to crash the proceedings, but was turned away by our bouncer for having no optical equipment…

Programming In the Wilderness

Today I headed west – with my male companion – for a weekend of programming in the wilderness.

We stopped for breakfast/lunch at Foxwood Farm where I ate toast…

We then battled our way through a heard of cows…

Cleaning the Lizard

This is what a really clean lizard looks like…

Clean Lizard

Meanwhile, we had to go to the Korean supermarket at Eastwood to buy gyoza skins and a few other essential items…

Korean Supermarket

While at Eastwood, we noticed that the Maroo Korean BBQ restaurant is no more! It is now ‘Surasang’. Although Maroo was once one of our favourite restaurants, it had slipped in the last couple of years to the point where we decided not to go there any more. But we might try this new one some time…

I Touched a Reindeer (Intimately)

It was the evening of the Christmas Carols in Lane Cove Plaza. We didn’t go to the carols, but instead went to have dinner on the balcony at Epitome. This allowed us to gaze down upon the carol singing masses while indulging in decadence.

While there, I was able to touch a reindeer intimately…

Of course we wore our Christmas attire…

We also learned that Harley Davidson has sold Epitome! A dude called David has bought it and HD will be departing after Christmas.

Tree Lighting, Antlers and Pig

It was the day of the lighting of the Christmas tree at Lane Cove. We did not attend the ceremony, but instead went to eat Thai food…

Later, we went to look at the lit tree…

We also saw a pig…

Sushi and Horse Racing at Sea

Today there was a sushi demonstration in the Centrum…

However, they didn’t really demonstrate how to make sushi. One dude was making it, another was carving animals from pieces of fruit, while the third guy rambled on about un-related stuff. They were non-Japanese…

There was also horse racing with betting. It was very exciting indeed, but we didn’t gamble…

Horse Racing

We again went to the pool deck and drank beer. Yuko likes it because she can get a good WiFi signal…

When we got back to out room after dinner, our towel had been transformed into a pig…
