Bilby Delivery

At Easter, I purchased a supply of Chocolate Bilbies with the aim of giving at least one to GreenMan, an occasional reader of this blog. By consuming chocolate bilbies, we help to save this endangered species.

Today I met GreenMan and two other former work colleagues for lunch at a Japanese restaurant in a major suburban shopping mall.

I had only anticipated two diners, and I only had two bilbies in stock anyway, so one of them missed out on a bilby. We discussed my latest ventures, my former place of employment, and large arctic marine mammals.

Note the pink bag containing a bilby in the picture below…

The food was adequate. I ate Chicken Katsu…

In the afternoon we went to Firefly. They had a new heater – with a big flame inside a glassy tube. It looke very nice indeed. We later found out that it was only on loan from the heater company for one day…

However, I hope this chicken is permanent…

Family Gathers – Eats Birds

In the evening we went to a family gathering at my Aunt’s house. We ate birds – turkey and chicken – and it was very nice indeed.

Cameras were banned for most of the evening, but I was able to take the picture below of a jigsaw my uncle is working on…

Christmas Picnic

It’s Christmas, and depite my being an atheist, and Yuko being an occasional Buddhist, I donned some gay apparel and we exchanged gifts…

Then we walked across the road to have a picnic on someone else’s private property. We assumed they wouldn’t mind because they are Christians. We took a chicken and ate it enthusiastically…

Skate Board Chicken

I went to the city today, partly to investigate my commuting options for next week when I start work. While there, I came upon a strange sight. There were several dudes with large cameras pointing up a steep street where nothing appeared to be happening. At first I thought there must be some VIP or celebrity due to pass by. However it became apparent that it was actually the filming of a skateboard stunt.

I watched for a while in the hope of seeing something exciting. It appeared that a dude on a skateboard was supposed to launch himself down a set of stairs, or perhaps slide down the railing. As I watched, the dude made many approaches to the steps, but on every occasion, he stopped short. It appear he was too scared to do it. The film crew became frustrated. I eventually gave up and left so I don’t know whether they ever got the shot.

Later we went to Epitome and I placed my hand on Yuko’s head. When we got home, Yuko spent some time blatantly spying on the neighbours with her camera…

Animals

It was a day of animals.

In the morning Yuko photographed a live dog…

Then, in the carpark we found a dead bear…

And to end the day we went to the Red Chopstick and ate happy chickens…

PLD

Today it was PLD. The Pool Special Forces team went to a pub called ‘PUB’. There I drank Irish beer and ate honey-seeded chicken. I didn’t even know that honey had seeds! I must have led a sheltered life.

Then we went to another pub called ‘Shark’ where we invented a new game which can be played on a pool table. However I can’t reveal the details here.

Lewd Act at Tree Lighting

Tonight was the annual tree lighting ceremony at Lance Cove. it was very exciting indeed.

The Lane Cove Christmas Tree

A large crowd gathered in the plaza for a program of entertainment leading up to the tree lighting. The strange thing is that the tree is not visible from this part of the plaza, thus mittigating the excitment at the moment of the lighting…

There was also a herd of cattle and a flock of sheep, along with the odd chicken and pig…

I was shocked to observe an underage sheep performing a lewd act with a mature man…

We didn’t wait for the tree lighting, deciding to go to the Indian restaurant instead!

Chicken and Mouse

Mother invited me to dinner at her house. She cooked a happy chicken. I pointed out that it didn’t look happy, but Mother insisted that it had lived a fulfilling life before being brutally murdered to satisfy our hunger.

She has received an invitation to a 21st birthday party. It’s fancy dress with a theme of ‘animated characters’. There were a few examples on the invitation (as seen below). We discussed potential costumes and settled on Minnie Mouse who is only slightly younger than Mother.

Red Chopstick

I took Mother to the Red Chopstick tonight. As Yuko is away, we were less restricted in our food selection. We therefore ordered chicken and chicken for entree, followed by a main course of chicken.

Later we returned to Mothers house and I saw the progress on her latest art work…
