The weather was perfect for this beachy diversion from our regular routine. Although I took Fifi, the beachy atmosphere made me too lazy to do any work, so Fifi stayed in the bag.
Then we went for a walk and Yuko harassed Billy the dead dog...

I watched the full video of the beheading of Nick Berg. It was not as graphic as the violence in some Hollywood movies to which we have become so desentitised. But the knowledge that this is a real murder makes it quite a chilling experience to watch it.
Postscript: After Yuko read the item above, she wanted to see the video too. I let her watch it
and she was appalled.

It's 11:30pm and Yuko is watching Jerry Springer! I thought I'd weaned her off it! There are two big fat twin sisters having a punch up over some guy and one of them is getting naked...
